About
“Creating images you want to live in.”
For Helen Kozak, photography is about helping people feel the character of a place. A professional photographer specializing in multifamily communities, architecture, and interiors, she has spent more than three decades bringing spaces to life through clean composition, natural light, and thoughtful attention to detail. Since beginning her career in 1988, Helen has focused on creating images that show not only how a place looks, but also what it feels like to be there.
Before working on her own, Helen spent years assisting and producing for several commercial photographers, on shoots that ranged from airline interiors to food styling. That grounding in lighting, styling, and production still shapes every shoot she takes on.
She approaches every shoot with curiosity and care, planning around the unique light and personality of each setting, from morning sunlight streaming into a corner residence to a rooftop glowing as the city lights come on. Helen stays closely involved from the first conversation through final retouching, making the process smooth and collaborative while delivering polished images ready for leasing, marketing, print, and web.
Over the years, Helen has had the pleasure of working with clients including Greystar, Trammell Crow Residential, Bozzuto, JBG Smith, CBRE, Carmel Partners, Hord Coplan Macht, and Design Works. She studied photography at the School of Visual Arts in New York and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland. Based in Delaware, Helen works primarily throughout the Mid-Atlantic and welcomes assignments nationwide and internationally.

You receive a written estimate based on the spaces you want photographed. Once it’s approved and the agreement is signed, we set a shoot date and a backup weather day.
-

Your team works through the property readiness checklist so every space is ready on the day, and Helen checks the weather forecast for the shoot date.
